- Brand Name Justification Document - Ultra-High-Speed Camera, UBSi 12/24-3 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. FA2486-14-R-0224 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73 and DFARs DPN 20140506. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC) Code is 5836. NAICS is 333316 and the size standard is 1000 employees. This acquisition is 1000% Small Business Set-Aside. One award to one contractor is anticipated. Air Force Test Center, PZZC-Holloman, Holloman AFB, NM is seeking to purchase the following Brand Name item via a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The 846 Test Squadron at Holloman AFB, NM, has a requirement for an Ultra-High-Speed Camera manufactured by Invisible Vision as described below. Camera CLIN 0001 Quantity: 1 Each Noun: CAMERA, ULTRA-HIGH-SPEED NSN: N - Not Applicable Contract type: FIRM FIXED PRICE Inspection: DESTINATION Acceptance: DESTINATION FOB: DESTINATION Descriptive Data: Camera, Ultra-High-Speed, UBSi 12/24-3, Mfr: Invisible Vision Salient Characteristics:  4800 x 3200 resolution;  Frame rate of up to 1,000,000,000 FPS at full resolution with time gap between frames 8 and 9;  Minimum frame capture capacity of 24 frames;  Minimum exposure down to 3 nanoseconds;  Minimum interframe rate is 1 nanosecond;  Minimum Monochrome 12-bit depth;  Spatial resolution 35lp/mm;  Gbit Ethernet camera interface;  Built in Velocity Trap;  Nikon F Mount;  PC control with control software;  Rugged Pelican Case or equal with molded inserts;  User programmable TTL flash output Award will be made to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer that is most advantageous to the Government. Technical Acceptability will be based on the offerors ability to meet all the minimum requirements listed above. This is a "Brand Name" acquisition for a camera manufactured by Invisible Vision and meeting the requirements listed. A justification document is attached to this posting. Submission of an "equal" camera from another manufacturer will be considered as technically unacceptable, but will be retained as information in potential future procurements.
