- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD NSWC) Port Hueneme, Ca. intends to issue a firm fixed priced order to purchase 10 ea., MRCTS (Missile Round Cable Test Set) CASE, P/N 5497151 Rev B+. Required delivery will be in 6-8 weeks at receipt of order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 332439 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. The contractor is Zero Manufacturing, Inc. of North Salt Lake, Utah. is the vendor that manufactures per Navy requirements and meets the technical and time requirements required to meet the material being acquired must be compatible and interchangeable with other equipment used in the weapons system. The MRCTS Case is proprietary to Zero Manufacturing Inc. They manufacture to order as specified in control drawing # 5497151 Rev B+. Given that Zero Manufacturing Inc. is the only company license to manufacture the MRCTS Cases we recommend Zero Manufacturing Inc. given this limited scope. The anticipated issuance date for this order is on, or around 06 June 2014. Note 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within Thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
