Contractor will use the shop area in 18H to facilitate the repairs. The contractor is required to tag and/or label to identify ownership of any and all equipment or work products installed for this job. Actual dates of installation and access to buildings must be coordinated with the VA Point of Contact, William McGlothlin, Building 18H, Perry Point, MD 21902, Telephone 410-642-2411, Ext 5145. Work at VA locations to be performed on Weekdays only, between the hours of 08:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding Federal holidays. Vendor representatives and technicians must be trained and authorized to perform all maintenance and service tasks. Vendor is to provide all necessary transportation, parts, supplies, materials and labor to accomplish all tasks. All work performed is to be warranted by the contractor. REQUIRED REPORTING: a. Contractor personnel are required to check in with the Electric Shop Foreman or designee prior to starting work and check out at the end of the work day. b. Chemicals: Contractor will furnish a list to the chief of the using service, prior to performance of any work, the trade names (if any) and chemical names and strengths used of all chemicals, along with antidotes, that are used in performance of services. c. Badging: Contractor is to have identification badging visible on their person while on VA premises. d. Security: All vendors and visitors are subject to Federal Installation Security Requirements, including inspection of any containers, equipment or vehicles as required. e. Summary: Upon completion of routine or emergency service calls, the vendor will provide a written summary of all tasks accomplished, including any observations and recommendations concerning any associated equipment and systems. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 evaluation factors. Evaluation may be made with or without discussions with the offeror(s). All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting quotes. Any offer that does not meet the solicitation requirements will be rejected as non-responsive.
