Description
Services Non-Personal: The Contractor shall provide all labor, spark and explosive proof tools, equipment, supplies, personal protective equipment and clothing including reflective clothing (belt, vest, etc), hearing and eye protection including prescription safety glasses, lifting equipment and devices, fire extinguisher(s), portable coolant tanks, transportation and other incidentals necessary to provide Coolant Recycling Services at Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC). The Contractor shall be responsible for insuring all Scheduled Services, Daily Services, Cleaning, Remedial Maintenance, purchasing of TRIM Micro Sol 585XT coolant and supplies provided under this contract are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined herein, conform to the manufacturer's equipment specifications and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Effective Coolant Recycling Services are an essential component of the machining operations at OC-ALC, directly affecting process capabilities and costs. Equipment to be maintained and required support services will be listed in Appendix A and Appendix A-1 of the Formal Request For Proposal (RFP). A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Time and Materials (T&M) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) are contemplated for this competitive requirement. The proposed 30-day phase in period is 01 Sept 2014 to 30 Sept 2014. The proposed basic period of performance is 01 Oct 2014 to 30 Sept 2015. The proposed option year one period of performance is 01 Oct 2015 to 30 Sept 2016. The proposed option year two period of performance is 01 Oct 2016 to 30 Sept 2017. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements, Instructions to Offerors (ITO) and Evaluation Factors for Award. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to set-aside this requirement for 100% Small Business concerns. The approximate issue date for solicitation # FA8125-14-R-0005 is 17 June 2014. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 18 July 2014. The RFP will be available for download on the release date from https://www.fbo.gov. Registration at http://www.sam.gov is required to receive any award. Electronic procedures will be used for this award. The NAICS code for this requirement is 562219 with a size standard of $35.5M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals on or before the closing date of the formal RFP. All proposals will be considered.
