- Description
- The purpose of the Amendment is to provide information for innovative research and development of airborne radar that can detect both moving and stationary targets at long ranges. The Army is seeking information on possible radar sensors that can detect moving and stationary vehicles and/or dismounts at long ranges on a fixed wing aircraft. Both Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) and high resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) modes must be included. The basic requirement is addressed in numerous Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) publication of Force Operating Capabilities (FOCs) (02-02, 03-02, 04-03, 06-01, and 06-06) referenced within ISR Sub-topic #2 - Radar Applications.
