Description
Contracting Office Address Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division, 100 Bureau Drive, Building 301, Room B125, Mail Stop 1640, Gaithersburg, MD, 20899-1640. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on commercial vendors that are capable of providing a high-precision, high-bandwidth, high-speed digitizer board. After results of this market research are obtained and analyzed and specifications are developed for the digitizer board that can meet NIST's minimum requirements, NIST may conduct a competitive procurement and subsequently award a Purchase Order. NIST has a need for a high-precision, high-bandwidth, high-speed digitizer board located at NIST, 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899, that would meet the following requirements: 1. Sampling rate of at least 200 MS/s 2. Onboard memory of at least 1 GS 3. Vertical resolution > 16 bits 4. Maximum bandwidth of 125 MHz or greater 5. 50 Ohm and 1 MOhm capability 6. 2 on-board channels 7. PCIe card 8. External trigger in and trigger out 9. Includes software for use with Labview in Windows 7 10. Allows for use with an external or reference clock in and out 11. Harmonic distortion less than -75 dB 12. Variable voltages ranges which span 100 mV to 5 V 13. Allows for AC or DC coupling 14. Allows for on-board Fast Fourier Transforms 15. Allows for streaming of data directly to the PC's RAM (include any needed software) REQUESTED INFORMATION TO BE INCLUDED IN RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE: NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, foreign, and small businesses. Small businesses are defined under the associated NAICS code for this effort, 334516, as those domestic sources having an average annual receipt of 500 employees or less. Please include your company's size classification in any response to this notice. Companies that provide a high-precision, high-bandwidth, high-speed digitizer board are requested to email a detailed report describing their abilities to kim.stavish@nist.gov no later than the response date for this sources sought notice. The report should include achievable specifications and any other information relevant to your product or capabilities. Also, the following information is requested to be provided as part of the response to this sources sought notice: 1. Name of the company that provides a high-precision, high-bandwidth, high-speed digitizer board for which specifications are provided. 2. Name of company(ies) that are authorized to provide a high-precision, high-bandwidth, high-speed digitizer board, their addresses, and a point of contact for the company (name, phone number, fax number and email address). 3. Indication of whether the high-precision, high-bandwidth, high-speed digitizer board for which specifications are provided are currently on one or more GSA Federal Supply Schedule contracts and, if so, the GSA FSS contract number(s). 4. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum specifications and finalizing its market research. Point of Contact 1. Kim Stavish, Contract Specialist, Phone (301) 975-2672, Email: kim.stavish@nist.gov 2. Andrea Parekh, Contracting Officer, Phone (301) 975-6984, Email: andrea.parekh@nist.gov
