Energy Detection Assembly NSN: 5865-01-494-7162EW Part Number: 640300 Function: Converts IR energy in electrical signals. Size/Dimensions: 12" (L) x 9" (W) x 4" (H) Weight: 12 lbs. Material: Aluminum, glass, and electronic components. Basic Year BEQ: 36 Option I BEQ: 40 Option II BEQ: 25 Option III BEQ: 28 Option IV BEQ: 20 Unit of Issue: EA (each) Destination Information: SW3119 (Robins AFB, GA) Delivery Schedule: 180 calendar days ARO/ARA, whichever is later, at a rate of 4 each per month. Duration of the Contract Period: Should all options be exercised, the total duration of the contract will be a maximum of 5 years. The solicitation will be issued sole source to L3 Communications-Cincinnati Electronics (L3-CE), Cage Code 80045, 7500 Innovation Way, Mason, OH 45040-9699 (place of performance). L3-CE is the only known qualified/approved source with the data and technical capability to repair these components. Authority: 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other Supplies or Servies will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available on or about June 19, 2014 at FedBizOpps located at http://www.fbo.gov.
