Description

This is a competitive combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6. This announcement will include a Standard Form, SF1449 Solicitation Document and Attachments. This requirement is for electrical lighting/power correction services, that are contained in the Scope of Work in the posted Request for Quote. The Solicitation Number for this Acquisition is VA244-14-Q-1000, and is being issued with this announcement as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Solicitation is being conducted under the procedures of FAR Part 12 and 38 USC 8127 (d). This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS Code for this Acquisition is 238210. The Small Business Size Standard is $14 Million. The Government intends to award a one-time Firm Fixed Price Commercial Items (Service) contract. The Delivery Schedule for delivery of all items and completion of all services is 45 days after receipt of a Contract. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, written proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Closing Response Date is 6/05/2014 at 4:00PM Eastern Time. The Agency Point of Contact is Ronald Mazzei, at ronald.mazzei@va.gov. All respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the Contract. All respondents must submit the following: Page 1 of the SF1449 with their company name and address in Block 17a. Page 9 with completed Price Schedule with their lump sum Quote. The Technical and Past Performance Submission Information that is on Page 51. The Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items (52.212-3) that is on Pages 52-67, or a statement they are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and are registered in SAM. Copy of their Certification from Vetbiz, indicating they are a Certified Veteran Owned Small Business.
