- Description
- Lanyard and Clip Data The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to vendor questions. Please see the information below : Question 1: Is there an NSN (National Stock Number) associated with each of the parts (9330908, 9330909, 9330920 & 200612201)? Answer 1: NSNs: 9330908- 1325-01-434-5748 9330909- 1325-01-434-5749 9330920- 1325-01-570-0612 200612201-1325-01-570-0613 Question 2: Is there a procurement history for these items, that you might provide to me? Answer 2: These parts were originally procured in the early-mid 1990's along with the hardware supported; in this case the FMU-143 fuses. According to the primary customer, there have not been any procured since the original purchase Question 3: Can you please provide a copy of Document SP8983300? ( It is a required document, referenced in the notes of drawings) Answer 3: Due the limited distribution of the document and sensitivity of some of the material contained in SP8983300, we're not at liberty to provide you the entire document. However, I attached an excerpt related to what I believe is needed to develop a quote. Please see the attachment titled "Lanyard and Clip Data". Question 4: I understand that you are seeking 2000 of each of the parts listed (9330908, 9330909, 9330920 & 200612201), however can you provide more information on the anticipated Inspection procedure? Would we be expected to produce lots of only 49 for each part, so as to allow Inspection for each 50th part? Further, would inspection "follow" the part from start (including the components described in Attachments 1 - 3) through final testing? Or, is the Inspection of only the final & load bearing testing? Answer 4: There is no need for manufacturing these parts in lots of 50, which negates the 2nd part of the question to follow an item from start to finish. A random sample of 50 of each item selected with the Government Representative present will suffice. Random sampling provides a better representation of the entire production run and eliminates the possibility of producing "Golden Rounds" for the acceptance testing.
