- Customer Care Consolidated IT Services Industry Day This notice serves as official notification of the Customer Care Consolidated IT Services Industry Day session. Date: June 12, 2014 Time: 8:30 a.m. EDT (vendors may arrive no earlier than 8:00 a.m. EDT) Location: Fort Belvoir, 9301 Chapek Road, Building 1458, Room 2NE4102, Fort Belvoir, Virginia Interested vendors planning to attend shall RSVP via email to Angie Hook at angela.d.hook.civ@mail.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. EDT on Friday June 6, 2014. Vendors may bring up to three (3) representatives. RSVP email should include: -Names and Titles of attendees -Company Name -Phone Number -Email address Each vendor's Facility Security Officer (FSO) will need to send a Visit Authorization Request (VAR) in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (including vendor CAGE code). PLEASE NOTE THIS MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 9 JUNE 2014 TO ENSURE ACCESS TO THE EVENT. Please use Susnaia Butler (703-545-3009/susnaia.d.butler.civ@mail.mil) and Willie Murphy (703-545-3013/willie.n.murphy.civ@mail.mil) as Points of Contact, and enter Industry Day in the remarks. Once the VAR has been submitted, the FSO should send notification of submission to USARMY.PENTAGON.HQDA-ITA.ESS-P.LIST.EIMA-PERSONNEL-SECURITY@MAIL.MIL and copy Susnaia Butler and Willie Murphy at the email addresses noted above. This Industry Day session will follow the principles identified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201, Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals. The objective of Customer Care Consolidated IT Services' Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Army's mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective quoters and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Army's requirements. Industry Day will begin with briefings by the Director of Customer Care, the prospective Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, Contracting Officer. A question and answer (Q&A) session will follow the briefings. The questions posed during the Q&A should not be related to the Source Selection Team, their roles, or responsibilities. Note: Advance questions are not permitted. Only questions presented at Industry Day or within the specified timeframe following Industry Day shall be answered. The Government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The Government will not be recording the session. However, the Government will be taking notes to assure that any questions requiring official answers have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the vendors shall rely on the Final RFQ. The Government looks forward to meeting with you and assisting you as you develop unique solutions to our important challenges. Additional Information: - Parking is available to visitors in the parking lot north of Building 1458. - Address is 9301 Chapek Rd, Bldg 1458 Room 2NE4102, Ft. Belvoir, VA. Building 1458 is the only building on that road. - The Government will not reimburse vendor representatives for any costs incurred to attend the Customer Care Consolidated IT Services Industry Day. - All attendees shall have a valid US drivers license. The driver of any vehicle shall have the appropriate rental papers, insurance documents, and vehicle registration. Building 1458 is located in grid C3 of the map. - Visitors are required to enter the base through the Tulley Gate entrance, located off of Virginia Route 1. - Visitors are required to enter Building 1458 through the front door. - No photo, audio, or video equipment is allowed in the building. - No video or audio recording will be permitted. - Cell phones and pagers shall be turned OFF while in the Industry Day room, or preferably left outside the event. - In the event of an emergency, please follow the guidance provided by OPM www.opm.gov and/or Ft.
