- The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Belvoir (MICC-FB), 9410 Jackson Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, intends to issue a sole source award to SMG located at 300 Conshohocken State Road Ste 450, West Conshohocken, PA, 19428, from 15 September 2014 - 21 September 2014, for Spirit of America Performances in Albany, NY. SMG is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) only one responsible source, and solicited in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. A justification for sole source has been prepared in support of this acquisition, and market research has revealed that there is no other available source. Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Belvoir, VA., intends to issue a contract to utilize the Times Union Center arena located in Albany, NY for the Spirit of America Performances. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 711310 for this requisition. SMG is considered a large business. This is not a request for competitive quotes. If you feel your firm can provide these services, please submit a capabilities statement by 10:00 AM EST, 9 June 2014. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition on future requirements. The Government reserves the right to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) as a result of this announcement. Please be advised that this announcement may constitute the only notice that will be posted for this acquisition, based on the review of any responses to this notice.
