- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TO REQUEST INFORMATION ONLY The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Benning, Georgia is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential, qualified sources interested in providing Inspections and Certifications on the training towers located on Fort Benning, Georgia. This synopsis is issued to conduct Market Research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought Notice. This market research does not restrict the Government to a specific acquisition approach. This acquisition falls under Classification Code H - Quality Control, Testing and Inspection Services, (NAICS) Code 541410 - Interior Design Services. There is no solicitation available at this time. A summary of the services to be provided are as follows and in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS): The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and services for the Inspections and Certifications necessary to meet federally mandated safety requirements for operating seven (7) 34' towers and two (2) 300' towers used to accomplish the Airborne Training mission on Fort Benning, Georgia. Inspections shall also include all connecting components and parts of the towers. Contractor shall conduct safety and structural inspections of the aforementioned towers using the appropriately trained personnel. The contractor will be responsible to propose and deploy the correct labor type and mix required to satisfactorily and professionally execute the required inspections and certifications. Inspections and certifications will be conducted per the guidance of ANSI/AWS D1.1M2010, Structural Welding Code (Metal Scaffolds and Towers), The Crane Institute of America (Personnel Hoisting) and Fort Benning's Directorate of Public Safety requirements. The following information will be submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice: 1. A capability statement that demonstrates the knowledge, ability and past or current performance of the required services. 2. Name of the business to include address and phone number. 3.
