Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia has a requirement for a direct storm replacement Vaughan Vertical Wet Well Chopper pump. The Government has determined there is sufficient competition to set aside this procurement for small business.. The suggested contractor is Covidien, 15 Hampshire St, Mansfield, MA 02048. Product requirement is for a Vaughan Model V3F-060 Vertical Wet Well Chopper Pump 7 Feet long, serial number 66016. Specifications are include in Invitation for Bid VA247-14-B-0858 This procurement is an Invitation for Bid. Companies can provide brand name or equal. Bidders must provide for equal product consideration their technical capabilities and specifications of their product, past performance information to include product research and technical and peer published reviews, price, delivery and installation from the date of this notice. The information will be technical reviewed by the Chief of Plumbing shop in the Engineering Department at the Charlie Norwood VAMC for consideration this and possible future requirements. This procurement is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 14. Bids may be submitted no later than the closing date of 12 June, 2014 at 2:00PM.to Lois Greene, Contract Specialist, via email at lois.greene@va.gov. No facsimile will be accepted.
