- Amended synopsis to update major work items list below. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is not a solicitation, request for quote, or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the USNS MERCY (T-AH-19) Regular Overhaul / Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) Availability beginning on or about 12 January 2015 with a performance period of 75 days. The ROH/DD will be conducted at a contractor's facility on the West Coast, U.S. The estimated issue date of this solicitation (N32205-14-R-5003) is on or about 30 June 2014. After issuance, the solicitation may be obtained on the FedBizOpps website: https://www.fbo.gov/. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Major work items (WI) include but are not limited to the following: 1. 106 SWBT PRESERVATION 1 FWD, 4, 6S, 6 DB AND ER DB 2. 108 FREEBOARD PRESERVATION 3. 114 POTABLE WATER TANK PRESERVATION 4. 201 PROPULSION TRAIN INSPECTIONS AND REPAIRS 5. 202 BOILER INSPECTION 6. 203 BOILER SAFETY VALVE INSPECTION AND TEST 7. 204 BOILER 5 YEAR MOUNTINGS OPENED 8. 208 MAIN CONDENSER CLEANING AND INSPECTION 9. 209 PORPULTION BOILER SURVEY 10. 210 MAIN CIRCULATION PUMP OVERHAUL 11. 903 U/W HULL PRESERVATION The solicitation will be released on a full and open competition basis. The appropriate NAICS Code for this requirement is 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
