- Description
- The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego (SWRMC) intends to issue a solicitation for Sheetmetal Repair and Fabrication Services, to be performed onboard U.S. Naval ships and other U.S. government vessels within a 50-mile radius of San Diego, CA which may include Oceanside, CA. The contractor will be required to provide all labor services and materials in accordance with the established statement of work and all applicable government specifications and regulations. Inspections and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant government representative. The contractor is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. The successful offeror will be required to have a NAVSEA approved Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004), approved and in place at time of contract award. The government intends to: 1) award a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year period and four one year option periods, and 2) compete subsequent task orders among those firms that are awarded contracts. The delivery orders will be firm-fixed price. The applicable NAICS will be "336611" Business size 1,000 employees.
