Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for informational/market research purposes only. This is in support of market research being conducted to identify capable potential contractors for delivery of Mobil DTE Oil Heavy Medium ISO VG 68 to John Day Lock and Dam, Interstate 84, Exit 109, Rufus, OR 97050. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to purchase approximately 7000 gallons of Mobil DTE Oil Heavy Medium ISO VG 68 with 2.5% Lubrizol additive for delivery to John Day Lock and Dam, Interstate 84, Exit 109, Rufus, OR 97050. Oil would be delivered in two installments on separate dates approximately 3 days apart, approximately 3500 gallons each delivery. Supply of two 300 gallon or greater storage totes with spill containment pallets is also required. As part of oil delivery, on-site filtration and monitoring by particle counter will be required. Removal of and disposal of approximately 7000 gallons of used oil from John Day oil tank will also be required. Completion of delivery of the Mobil DTE Oil Heavy Medium ISO VG 68 with 2.5% Lubrizol additive is required on or before 26 August 2014. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424720. The FSC code is 9150. Contractors responding to this announcement shall submit, at minimum, the following information to Mr. David Boone at david.c.boone@usace.army.mil: 1. Contractor's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address. 2. Contractor shall confirm that they are able to deliver the required supplies to John Day Lock and Dam on or before 26 Aug 2014. 3. Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (sam.gov) and provide CAGE code, DUNS number.
