Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY (as described in FAR 5.204), this is not a solicitation. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Strategic Integration (OSI) has a requirement to procure services to roll-out nationally the VA Pulse Social Business Platform (Software as a Service), to include field engagement, onboarding and education, community facilitation, and platform marketing. OSI has a goal of reaching the top end (upwards of 300,000 users) by the end of the third contract year. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541611 and the small business size standard is $14 million. The Government anticipates awarding a 5-year single-award firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for services. All responsible small business sources (under applicable NAICS 541611) may submit a proposal, which if timely received and responsive, shall be considered by this agency. The Government anticipates posting Request for Proposal (RFP) VA119A-14-R-0297 to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) on or about June 16, 2014. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses should be in accordance with the instructions provided within the RFP. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for changes or amendments.
