- The Department Of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract award on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) "Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" to The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), 1 Massachusetts Ave NW Ste 700 Washington, DC 20001-1406 The service is to provide organizational membership in CCSSO which grants DoDEA leaders access to the expertise of the nation's other education executives in a collaborative forum where industry best practices are discussed and trends and patters in education are examined. CCSSO also provides to its members technical assistance on major educational issues and advocates for education policy reform. Additionally, there are four technical assistance groups that provide invaluable access to research and provide collaborative opportunities with experts and practitioners throughout the United States. PSC is U099, NAICS Code is 611710, and Size standard is $7.0 M. The sole source determination is based upon CCSSO being the only source able to complete to provide membership within their organization and the technical assistance groups. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
