- Description
- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for a CDI Multitest Motorized System inclusive of various transducer kits, screwdriver testing kits, tensiometer kit, force arm kit, and training. See RFQ for details. Motorized Dual Mode Torque Calibration System: Able to cycle, test and calibrate torque wrenches automatically or manually, and calibrate torque screwdrivers, cable tensiometers, tension/compression gauges manually over ranges from 5 in.-oz. to 2000 ft.-lb. Must provide digital display. Display must provide simultaneous indication of calibration measurement and torque applied by tool; provide peak, peak hold, first peak, and track modes; provide for stored measurements and analysis results from basic statistical functions (Avg, St Dev, Spread/Range, etc.); provide selection of torque measurement units including in. oz., in. lb., ft. lb., Nm, dNm, cNm, mkg and cmkg, and force measurement units in Ounce, Pound, Newton, deciNewton, Kilopond (Kilogram) & Gram Must include torque adapters and cabling kits. Torque transducers must meet a minimum accuracy specification of 0.25% I.V. with a NIST traceable calibration report (not pass/fail certificate of conformance). Must include on-site setup and training. Must be compatible with existing CDI ancillary equipment: 5" calibration wheel 2.5" calibration wheel Force cables 10" butterfly wheel Lock pins This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.g ov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=.The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than 05/21/2014. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
