- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offers are request on NIH-OLAO-OD3406902 The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 effective May 30, 2014 This Acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The National Institute of Health, Division of Veterinary Services intends to procure autoclaves for the animals housed in specialized caging systems. FAR Pt. 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items Specifications for the Autoclaves include: Mobile Autoclave Transportation Unit Approximate Size 36.50 wide 23.50 deep x 57.50 high All stainless steel construction including casters which can withstand autoclave conditions Filter media, located on both ends are contained between two removable stainless steel mesh assemblies, media is removable for changing purposes Unit is supplied with double doors on one end of unit.Doors are gasketed with silicone gasket capable of withstanding autoclave conditions,for a secure seal Unit is equipped with a drain in the bottom Unit is equipped with eyelets on both ends of the 23.50 sides In order to be considered for an award, an offeror must have completed the online electronic Representations and Certifications located at:http://orca.bpn.gov in accordance with FAR 4.1201 (a). By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in SAM at www.sam.gov prior to award, during performance and through final payment of the Purchase Order. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Offers must be submitted no later than 10:00 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, June 24,2014.
