Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Hampton Virginia is conducting a market research to determine small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone's interest for The VA Medical Center, Hampton will be participating in the use of Emergency Communication support to VA police within the capabilities available at the time request for support is made and within the terms of this agreement. Emergency Communication support provided pursuant to this agreement shall include, but not be limited to, the following resources: Use of the 800 MHz radio system, related Radio System Main frame equipment, all portable/mobile /base station radios capable of operating on the City of Hampton 800 MHz Emergency Communications system and any equipment capable of making their current radio system interoperable with the Locality's Emergency Communications System. The period of performance will include one (1) base with four (4) options years with the base period beginning 7/1/2015 - 7/1/2016. Contractor must be able to pass a background check. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334330 Size Standard: SMALL, and the Classification code is 3679. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1.Company name and DUNs # 2.POC information 3.Business size and socio-economic classification (for example SDVOSB, Woman-owned) 4.If item is available on FSS Schedule. Interested party must provide contract number with expiration date. 5.Must be registered in OB10 for payment 6.Must be registered in SAM Interested parties must submit their information to Arlene.wright@va.gov no later than June12, 2014 and 4:30 Eastern Time.
