Description

The VAMC located at 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington WV, 25704 has a requirement to install Emergency Electrical in Buildings 7 & 8. This project is meant to complete emergency power wiring for buildings 7 and 8 and to provide office trailers with emergency power. Buildings 7 and 8 have some pre-wiring completed but not tied in to emergency power and the office trailers have recently been remodeled and are expected to be used for at least another 5 years. They would be provided temporary power that can be removed once the trailers are no longer needed. Vendor will provide all parts, labor, equipment, material, and supervision perform these tasks.. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business size standard is $33.5 million. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. The contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. This solicitation will be a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. To be eligible for award, at the time which offers are due and delivered to the Contracting Officer, the bidder must be listed and viewable in the Vendor Information Pages in the VetBiz registry at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The Vendor Information Pages will be checked at the time of receipt of all offers, as well as prior to award. In addition, bidders are further advised that compliance with VAAR 852.219-10 shall be enforced and monitored to ensure that the minimum self-performance requirements are being met by the SDVOSB contractor. The successful bidder must also be able to demonstrate how their firms intend to satisfy the self-performance requirements. The estimate construction cost range is: $100,000 - $500,000 The solicitation will be available for download on or before June 25, 2014.
