Description: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to replace three Motor Control Centers at the FAA Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and supervision to accomplish the work specified in the SIR, specifications and drawings. THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN 100% SET-ASIDE FOR COMPETITION AMOUNG SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY FOR NAICS CODE 238210. ************************************************************************* NOTE: THE SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2014 AT 10:00 A.M. ************************************************************************* The purpose of this web posting is to solicit offers for the subject project. The estimated procurement value for the subject project is estimated between $50,000 and $150,000. The contractor awarded the contract must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before an award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
