- The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Moffett Field is issuing a Source Sought Notice to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (Hubzone), Small Business (SB) that can provide Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) Event to the United States Army Reserve Center (USARC). The event will be from Tuesday, 2 September 2014 through Monday, 8 September 2014. For each of the event, it is anticipated 400 Service Members and up to 400 Family Members will attend, for a total of 800 participants. It is anticipated that there will be 11 Advance (ADVON) Staff, 40 Support Staff, 25 Instructors, and 50 Community Partners that will also attend. A total estimated number of 926 (participants, staff, community partners, instructors and liaisons) YRP participants. Friday morning through Saturday morning participants will check in at the hotel, and then proceed to the YRP Registration area. The event venue must be within a 25 mile radius of the Dallas Fort Worth Airport and Love Field Airport Dallas, Texas. The contracted hotel must be able to provide both the guest rooms and conference rooms at the same venue. Hotel must provide an on-site representative from the time the ADVON Staff arrives on Tuesday until the end of the event Monday. For security reasons, the hotel must have on-site security staff and the venue shall not have sleeping rooms which open to the outside (all rooms must enter or exit from within the hotel). This is not a solicitation for event planning services or 3rd party event planning services. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request of proposals; submission of any information is response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The proposed NAICS code is 721110 Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels and the business size standards is $30 million. At this point in the procurement process the MICC Moffett Field is performing market research to determine the interest of SDVOSB, VOSB, Hubzone, 8(a), WOSB and SB.
