- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a repair (structural) of greenhouses and replace evaporative cooling pad for six (6) greenhouses for the U.S. Horticulture Research Laboratory, 2001 South Rock Road, Fort Pierce, Florida, 34945. This procurement is set aside for a small business concern. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236210; Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. It is anticipated that award will result in a single award firm-fixed price contract. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated period of performance will be 100 calendar days from Notice To Proceed. Award will be made based on Best Value to the Government. All responsible offerors may submit an offer. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov on or about June 24, 2014. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation may be accessed electronically only via the FedBizOpps website. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposal due date will be identified in the solicitation.
