Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of all qualified Small Business Administration (SBA) businesses to include : certified: 8(a), HubZone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, women owned small business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The U.S. Army Garrison, West Point, NY is seeking sources to provide the necessary engineering services to assess design and construct the replacement of the existing Fire Alarm System at LINCOLN HALL at the USAG WP to include: Installation of a new Monaco, Enterprises, Inc. MAAP Plus fully addressable Fire Alarm System and companion MNS. All fire alarm Signaling Circuits (SLCs), Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) and Initiating Device Circuits (IDCs) shall be installed in conduit or surface raceway in accordance with the, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72 and wired in Class B configuration. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing these services. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to DAVID.ARIOSTO@us.army.mil. The information requested must be received no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 26 June 2014. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 1 August 2014. Please include solicitation # W911SD-14-R-LINC in the subject line of your response. The estimated price magnitude of this project is between $500,000 - $1,000,000
