- Draft PWS for Dix Full Food Service PRE-SOLICITATION DRAFT PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT – REQUEST FOR QUESTIONS/COMMENTS The 87 th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) NJ requests interested parties to provide comments and/or questions on the DRAFT performance work statement (PWS) for the performance of full food services for seven dining facilities at the Dix area of JB MDL. Also, interested parties are asked to provide the following feedback: 1. Please note any major differences in the government's requirement and similar requirements found in the commercial marketplace. 2. Please identify any portions of the draft PWS that, as written, are too restrictive or prohibit the flexibility to perform according to your established practices and why. 3. Identify any particular requirement that will drive up costs and/or risks to performance in meeting our mission. 4. Do the referenced instructions and other publications conflict with established commercial practices? Provide any comments you may have as to standard commercial practices for procuring similar services in the commercial marketplace. Interested parties can respond to this draft PWS by 26 Jun 14 2013 (4:00 PM EST). Email any questions or comments to Michael Petty, Contract Specialist, at michael.petty.5@us.af.mil. Telephone inquiries can not be accepted. Other than responses to this draft PWS, no other responses or inquiries can be accepted. This notice is not intended to solicit proposals, and contractors will not be compensated for any costs incurred as a result. Any resultant solicitation will be a commercial acquisition and the Request for Proposal will be solicited as a small business set-aside.
