- DARPA-SN-14-44: DARPA's Strategic Technologies Office (STO) Industry Meeting INDUSTRY MEETING: The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Strategic Technologies Office (STO) will host an Industry Meeting August 4-6, 2014 at the DARPA Conference Center located at 675 N. Randolph St. Arlington, VA 22203. Meeting times and additional details are available at the registration website below. MEETING OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this meeting is to present STO's progress and future strategy for program development and describe its areas of interest, including System of Systems; Battle Management, Command and Control (BMC2); Communications and Networks; Electronic Warfare; Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR); and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT); and Maritime. The areas of interest covered by these presentations will form the basis for future solicitations issued on behalf of DARPA STO, specifically the upcoming STO Office-wide DARPA-BAA-14-48. The event will be conducted at the SECRET collateral security level. All participants will require a SECRET personnel security clearance. See the registration website for participation eligibility requirements. The information presented at the General Sessions on August 4th and 5th will be the same. Attendees are only permitted to attend one General Session. Participants in either session will have the opportunity for private sidebar meetings with STO Program Managers on August 5th or August 6th. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Due to space limitations of the conference facility, attendance for each day will be limited to the first 150 registrants. No more than two representatives per organization (business unit), with a maximum of five attendees from any one corporation may attend over the entirety of the meeting. Attendees are encouraged to coordinate attendance internally within their organizations prior to registration. The registration site is as follows: www.sa-meetings.com/2014STOIndustryDay. Registration opens Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11 AM EDT. Registration will close when capacity is reached but not later than Monday, June 23, 2014 at 5 PM EDT. Participants may also register for sidebar meetings with STO Program Managers through the registration site. Attendees will receive notification regarding acceptance on or before Monday, July 14, 2014. Directions to the facility and additional information regarding agenda and security requirements are also available on the website. There is no registration fee for attending this meeting. The Industry Meeting does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. Attendance is voluntary and is not required to propose to any potential subsequent Broad Agency Announcements or potential research solicitations. DARPA will not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred to participate in this Industry Meeting.
