- Description
- This pre-solicitation notice is issued in anticipation of a Firm Fixed Price type contract for Transient Alert Services at Robins AFB, Ga. This acqusition will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The Government anticipates award of a basic year and four one-year options and one 6 month option to extend. This procurement will use Performance Price Trade-Off strategy. Proposed estimated Period of Performance is as follows. Basic Year: 1 September 2014 - 31 August 2015 Option I: 1 September 2015 - 31 August 2016 Option II: 1 September 2016 - 31 August 2017 Option III: 1 September 2017 - 31 August 2018 Option IV: 1 September 2018 - 31 August 2019 Specific proposal preparation instructions and evaluation basis for award will be detailed in the RFP. This requirement includes but is not limited to: Aircraft arrival, processing and departure services; Support for In-Flight Emergencies (IFE) and transient aircraft ground emergencies; Maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Contractors may be required to perform the following tasks: aircraft ground handling; follow-me service, marshaling, installing safety pins, inspecting brakes, placing tire chocks, installing protective covers, grounding aircraft, and placement of ladders/air stairs. If necessary, the contractor shall assist aircrew with refuel and lavatory cart service (avg 15 aircraft per year) and perform minor maintenance on all trainsient aircraft. This requirement also requires maintenance of ground support equipment used in conjunction with daily duties.
