- Army Contracting Command NJ -Fort Dix is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the acquisition strategy for procuring fuel oil. This RFI is to identify potential contractors for this requirement. The contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation and technical guidance to provide #2 Fuel Oil deliveries to the MG Oliver O. Howard USARC (ME001), 1072 Minot Ave, Auburn, ME 04210-3797. The period of performance is 1 August 2014 or subsequent date of award with four-one year option periods. The estimated usage per year is 3,500 gallons. Delivery shall be to one (1), 2,000 gallon government owned tank. This RFI is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Responses to this RFI should not exceed five (5) pages and must contain the following information: Your company's business size, using NAICS code 324110 business size 1,500 employees as the benchmark to determine business size. Please include any additional terms and/or conditions that might be included in a contract between commercial entities which may differ or not be included in the attached performance work statement. Also please include the economic index which could be used to account for price fluctuations. Responses are to be submitted to Claudia Adams, claudia.m.adams.civ@mail.mil by close of business Friday, 27 June 2014.
