- This solicitation is for a Negotiated contract to cover NSN: 4920-01-607-8242RN; P/N: 16U23510-5; NOUN: Test Set, Aircraft Engine; DIM: 13.75" x 8.75" x 13.0", Weight: 12 lbs.; MATL: Metal, Plastic and Glass; FUNC: used to provide checkout capabilities for aircraft engine warning control unit. Basic Year Requirement is 7 EA. Delivery 210 days ARO -2 EA, FE6401; 1 EA, FE2805; 1 EA, FE2373; 2 EA, FMS Sale; 1 EA FE4801. Four Option Periods of 365 days each are also included. Option Period I: 1-5 EA, Option Period II: 1-5 EA, Option Period III: 1-5 EA, Option Period IV: 1-5 EA. DEST: TBD; DEL: 210 days ARO exercise of Option. Solicitation is restricted to Small Business. Solicitation will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov website only on or about 16 June. Data will be available at time of RFP posting at www.fedbizopps.gov. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the buyer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
