Description

Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a solicitation for offers and the Government does not anticipate making an award as a result of this notice. In accordance with FAR 17.207 (d) (2), the Government is conducting market research to determine price reasonableness prior to exercising an option for fiscal year 2015. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 3 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently seeking qualified firms capable of providing a "Preventive Maintenance (PM) on government owned Steris Sterilizers & Washers" at the VA New Jersey Healthcare, East Orange & Lyons Campuses. The period of performance will be October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. The contractor shall provide two (2) PM per year, ensuring that the equipment is operating within its specifications, calibrating and cleaning, replacing any worn or defective parts, and installing and maintaining all software updates/upgrades. The vendor shall furnish and replace all necessary parts as required to return equipment to full manufacturers published specifications. All parts shall be new OEM parts and compatible with existing equipment. Below are the equipment items and serial numbers. The list of equipment covered is as followed: Six (6) sterilizers, S# 0115195-03, 0115801-01, 0335410-27, 0301811-21, 010829601, 0011449610 Three (3) flash sterilizers, S# 0125401-18, 0125301-08, 0125401-10 Four (4) washers, S# 3625203010C, 3621710004A, 3625508005, 3619096017 Two (2) ultra-sonic cleaner, S# 0110C0703, 0911C1315 One (1) cart & utensil washer/disinfector, S# 3617211004 Four (4) scope washers, S# 365111002, 3631210006, 3606011009, 3611911008 One (1) 2-rack load module, S# 3626405004 One (1) 2-rack unload module, S# 3626305007 Two (2) SCS single loads, S# 3635410006, 3629810004 Two (2) SCS single unloads, S# 3600511004, 3600511005 Responses to this notice must be received not later than June 20, 2014 at 12:00pm. Interested parties shall provide an unofficial quote for the period of performance mention above. The purpose of this notice is to produce a better price or more advantageous offer before exercising the option.
