- DRAWINGS AND SPECS FOR BIG LAKE LOOKOUT (LO) PROJECT DRAWING AND SPECS FOR LEWIS CANYON CG PROJECT The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, has requirement to demolish vault toilets at Lewis Canyon Campground and to move a vault toilet at Big Lake Lookout to Alpine Divide Campground. Both locations may require travel/transport over gravel or primitive roads. All of this work is covered under the Davis-Bacon Act for which separate wage determinations for both projects in Apache and Navajo Counties applies. The Lewis Canyon Campground project will involve demolition of existing vault toilets, sub-structure, and other features to prepare the area for new construction on a separate project. The Big Lake Lookout project will involve the removal and transport of an existing CXT Cascadian vault toilet 19 miles to Alpine Divide Campground. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract under the Request For Quotation (RFQ) format. The estimated range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The project is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $14.0 Million under NAICS code 238990. The RFQ solicitation package plans and specifications may be obtained online under this solicitation number on or after June 13, 2014. No organized site visit has planned for this project. Offerors encouraged to visit the sites on their own and ascertain the level of difficulty associated with this project.
