- THIS FILE CONTAINS THE SOLICITATION FOR BIDDING PURPOSES THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRES THE WORK DESCRIBED HEREIN THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) PROJECT TITLE: Supply of Chiller Rental Services in support of the USACE-Chicago District Fish Barrier project, Romeoville, IL This acquisition is being made pursuant to the provisions set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 13. A. INTRODUCTION OF REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District Office, located at 231 South LaSalle Street, Suite 1500, Chicago, Illinois 60604, is seeking price quotes for the work to be performed as described in the enclosed Scope of Work (See Section C OF THE ATTACHED SOLICITATION DOCUMENT). B. SUBMITTAL DUE DATE AND TIME: The contractor shall provide its REPRESENTATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS, and a PRICE QUOTE to Major Warren, with a copy furnished to Regina Blair. Submittals must be furnished by 20 June 2014, no later than 4:30 p.m. (CDT). The Contractor shall email its package with the following contents to Christine.warren@usace.army.mil AND regina.g.blair@usace.army.mil. Any electronically submitted files by Email CANNOT EXCEED this Agency's size limit of 20MB (includes email and its attachment); files exceeding this size will be denied access to these email address. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify the size of its files. (1) BID SCHEDULE (PRICE QUOTE): Your firm shall provide prices for all BID items in the Bid Schedule. Your pricing shall be provided on the Bid Schedule enclosed herein. (2) REPRESENTATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER STATEMENT OF OFFERORS: You are required to fully complete and submit the Representations and Certifications enclosed at Section K of this Solicitation document. C. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Your firm must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to be awarded the resultant contract. Registration can be completed FREE on-line at https://www.sam.gov. D. BASIS FOR AWARD: The responsive, responsible contractor submitting the overall lowest aggregate fair and reasonable price for the items in the Bid Schedule will be awarded the contract.
