Description

The Pacific Regional Contracting Office Korea Cell at 121st Combat Support Hospital (CSH)/Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH), Korea intends to award a firm-fixed price, non-personal service contract for Preventive Maintenance and Repair Philips Ultrasound Scanning System. This requirement is for a period of performance from 15 July 2014 - 14 July 2015 (Base and 2 Option Periods). The Contractor shall provide all trained personnel, labor, travel, tools, diagnostic equipment, software, hardware, firmware, test phantoms, materials, supplies, parts and test equipment necessary to maintain the equipment as listed in a fully functional state, in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source contract to Philips Electronics Korea for Preventive Maintenance and Repair PM Philips Ultrasound Scanning System. Philips is the original manufacturing company of the Philips Ultrasound Scanning System and continues to support this unit through services and parts. The services must be provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Philips Electronics Korea is currently only certified local vendor who has all Philips Ultrasound Scanning System certificates to perform PM, CAL and repair services. And, they are the only authorized company to carry manufacturer parts, possesses the proprietary software and training that will meet and maintain the OEM specifications in Korea.
