- •Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) -All SCBA will be compliant with the current edition of NFPA 1852 •Scott Airpak (75 or X3) with all of the following features available: High pressure system with 30 minute cylinders Low pressure system with 30 minute cylinders Heads-up display AV300 facepiece Voice amplifier for facepiece Integrated PASS with shoulder mounted remote controller Integrated drag rescue strap Buddy-breathing connection RIC attachment •MSA Air Mask (FireHawk) with all of the following features available: High pressure system with 30 minute cylinders Low pressure system with 30 minute cylinders Facepiece with Heads-up display Voice amplifier for facepiece Integrated PASS with shoulder mounted remote controller RIC attachment •Avon ISI SCBA (Viking ZSeven) with all of the following features available: High pressure system with 30 minute cylinders Low pressure system with 30 minute cylinders Airswitch facepiece with Heads-up display Voice amplifier for facepiece Integrated PASS with shoulder mounted remote controller RIC attachment •SCBA Facepiece: -Avon ISI Airswitch facepiece, with heads-up display. All manufactured sizes provided. -MSA SCBA facepiece, with heads-up display. All manufactured sizes provided. -Scott AV3000 facepiece. All manufactured sizes provided. •SCBA cylinders: -Avon spare cylinders; available in 30 minute and 45 minute high pressure and 30 minute and 45 minute low pressure options. -MSA spare cylinders; available in 30 minute and 45 minute high pressure and 30 minute and 45 minute low pressure options. -Scott spare cylinders; available in 30 minute and 45 minute high pressure and 30 minute and 45 minute low pressure options. Anticipated Period of Performance: One (1) Base Year to begin approximately September 2014, and four (4) consecutive Option Years to be elected at the option of the Government. NAICS codes: 423490 Interested vendors shall submit a capability briefing statement to include: a) Company name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and FAX numbers, website address (if available), and the name, telephone number, and e-mail address of a point of contact having the authority and knowledge to clarify responses with Government representatives. b) Name, title, telephone number, and e-mail addresses of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the responses. c) Business size for NAICS 423490 and socio-economic category status, if any. d) DUNS number, CAGE Code, Tax Identification Number, and company structure (Corporation, LLC, partnership, joint venture, etc.). Companies also must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM www.sam.gov) to be considered as potential sources. e) The statement of capability shall be UNCLASSIFIED. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and a future RFP (if applicable). The capability briefing statement shall not exceed five (5) pages. Contractors capable of providing these products should submit a Statement of Capability containing the above reference information via e-mail to Contract Specialist Ms. Janet Keck at Janet_Keck@nps.gov. Electronic submission (email) is required. Responses shall be received no later than June 25, 2014 at 1 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). To restate our intent, the park service is seeking ONE (1) source to provide all three manufacturer items specified in this Request for Information. Please note that this is a Request for Information for market research purposes only; and is not a request for a proposal. Your firm's response to this RFI does not guarantee that a request for proposal will be forwarded to your firm or that NPS will contact you further. However, NPS does reserve the right to contact interested parties to seek further information if necessary. The information gathered from this market research will assist the NPS in its acquisition planning efforts to determine if a Small Business set-aside is appropriate for this effort.
