This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The VA Healthcare Bath, New York is searching for qualified vendors to provide rental oxygen tank. Tanks will need to be picked up, refilled, and delivered to the Bath VA Medical Center two (2) to three (3) times a week. The tanks should be portable and brand name or equal to 'Walk-02-Bout' tanks. Parties are asked to identify their interest and capability by submitting company information such as Offeror's Company Name, DUNS number, address, point of contact, title, phone number, email address, and brochure of tanks available for rental use. Offeror shall also identify their type of business (Small or large), and socioeconomic status whether Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Hubzone, 8(a), Woman owned, Small Disadvantaged, etc. The NAICs code for this is 424690 'Chemical gases merchant wholesales'. Responses are to be sent electronically to Megan.Biggerstaff@va.gov. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website. Responses to this sources sought notice are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested parties will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. Interested parties are reminded to register with System for Award Management at www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. Responses must be received by June 23rd, 2014, 4:00 pm eastern standard time.
