Description
This requirement is cancelled due to requirements change. This is a brand name only requirement for smoke oil for thunderbird IAW T.O. 1F6CJ-2-94JG-50-1 3-9 Oil Tank Servicing Procedure (please see attached Brand Name Justification ). The contractor shall provide Texaco/Chevron Canopus 13 (Part#273109) or Shell Aeroshell (Part number 5070834) smoke oil for thunderbird for the Air show. CLIN 0001 - Smoke oil 55 gallon Drums (Texaco/Chevron Canopus 13 Part#273109 or shell Aeroshell Part number 5070834) QTY- 20 DR This opportunity will be available to all Texaco/Chevron Canopus 13 or Shell Aeroshell smoke oil, non-manufacturing small business distributors. Delivery Date Shall be delivered NLT June 25, 2014 Evaluation of Proposals: Evaluation is on LPTA (lowest price technically acceptable) basis. All offers will be evaluated on their proposed Total Price. The contract will be awarded to the company with lowest price, which fully meets all requirements. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Submit only written offers; oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) Notice to Offerors: The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Applicable Provisions/Clauses: This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-71. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS ( IAW FAR 12.301(b)(1)) JAN 2005 Addendum to 52.212-1: Paragraph (b), entitled "Submission of Offers", Offers are due by 10:00am MST 12 June 2014 via electronic mail to rosita.crawford@hill.af.mil. 52.212-2: Evaluation -- Commercial Items (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) price; (b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
