Description
A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZONE, 8A, Woman Owned Small Business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed project is for the construction of a standard design Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Hangar. Work includes an operations and maintenance hangar with shops, company administration, storage and supply space, tool and parts storage, oil/water separator, petroleum, oil and lubricant storage, hazardous waste storage, aircraft container storage, organizational equipment storage, organizational vehicle parking, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection, and building information systems. Work also includes taxiways and access apron. Supporting facilities include site development, site improvements, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained units. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Sustainability and Energy measures will be provided. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design services are required. Contract duration is estimated at 480 days. The estimated cost range is $10-25 million. NAICS is 236220. All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this survey by email 30 June by 2:00PM Eastern Standard Time. Responses should include: (1) Identification and verification of the company's small business status. (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project. (3) Descriptions of Experience - a. Projects similar in scope to this project include: multi-story aviation maintenance hangar, aviation taxiways, hangar access apron, and organizational vehicle parking constructed within the last 5 years. b. Projects similar in size to this project include: projects with a single building or multiple buildings with a combined total square footage of 30,000 SF, runways and taxiways with a combined square yardage of 5,000 SY, and organizational vehicle parking of 8,000 SY constructed within the last 5 years. c. Projects similar in dollar value to this project include: Minimum of $17,500,000 d. Bonding Capabilities 1. Single Project 2. Aggregate 13. Base on the definitions above, for each project submitted, include: a. Current percentage of construction complete and the date when it was or will be completed. b. Scope of the project. c. Size of the project. d. Dollar value of the project. e. The portion and percentage of the project that was self-performed. (4) A statement of the portion of the work that will be self performed on this project, and how it will be accomplished.
