- SOW for Solicitation# NIAID-NOI-14C-1682307 The National Institutes of Health / National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID) in support of the Division of Clinical Research (DCR) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition a contract to upgrade the current DVR security monitoring system with ASG Security, 12301 Kiln Court, Suite. A, Beltsville, MD 20705-6308. ASG maintains compatibility with the existing system at IRF. ASG is the only vendor that provides installation and maintenance support for all of the security devices (one security system) at the NIH campus. The security devices and the security guidelines under which the security technology devices are applied are considered Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and not available for public release or short term vendor release. Any unauthorized release of Security Controlled Unclassified Information would compromise the safety and security of the NIH campus, personnel and property. ASG personnel who are contracted to work at the NIH campus have had background checks conducted and are authorized to access security related CUI. Additionally, the current Accutech Systems contract also provides for software programming and on-site project management. If the contract were awarded to another vendor, NIH could incur possible delays and potential harm to the security system and delays in performing background checks. Item/Description: Airship Hybrid45 Ch. 4 CIF 20TB w/RAID5, 8GB RAM; part # ASDR-4532205J (Quantity - 2 each). This is a security/installation contract (NAICS Code 561621) and all responsible sources that are certified may submit a proposal showing their capabilities and past performances in this field. The vendors shall provide certification from original equipment manufacturer that they are authorized to perform this task and have access to OEM parts and supplies. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. The Period of Performance will be 30 days from date of award. All responses shall be submitted through U.S. mail or via email to be received no later than 12:00 p.m. (EDST) July 3, 2014.
