Description

The US Army Medical Command Northern Regional Contracting Office, Fort Knox, KY intends to solicit, negotiate and award a purchase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) on a sole source basis to Eye Photo Systems Incorporated, 5966 SW Canby St., Portland, OR 97219 for a Canon EC100 Imaging System. The system includes the EC 100 Imaging System, Canon Digital SLR Camera, Image Capture Software, Compute, EC Image Capture Trigger, Keyboard tray with computer mount, Marco G5 Ultra Slit Lamp unit model, Ophthalmic Imaging table modification for slit lamp, installation, delivery, and training for the Eye Clinic at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky. The Canon EC 100 Imaging System is compatible with existing slit lamps and other equipment in the Clinic and its wheelchair accessible and height adjustable table will ensure access to all the clinic's patients and providers. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 339115, size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities along with their quotation. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 23 June 2014 at 1000 EST.
