- SOLICITATION This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit, negotiate, and enter into a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Supply Contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following procurement: CLIN 0001 - 7 Quad Channel Enclosure, PDF, P/N 77A126686P2 - 1 EA CLIN 0002 - 5 Quad and 2 Dual Channel Enclosure, HPOI, P/N 77A126686P3 - 1 EA CLIN 0003 - HPOI Standard P/N 8494059G1 - 1 EA FOB Destination SOLE SOURCE- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Linear Photonics, LLC, 3 Nami Ln Ste9, Hamilton, N.J. 08619 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Linear Photonics, LLC is the OEM of this Fiber Chassis and components and they hold all the proprietary and Level III drawings that are required to manufacture this item as they developed these items. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-14-T-0209; is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
