- AMENDMENT 0001: This notice is amended to make the following change: Item #3, two (2) ea Front Wheel Turn Plates is removed as a minimum specification. The lift will be used for general vehicle maintenance and not for alignments, thus no turnplates are required or needed. This amendment must be acknowledged in the quote submission. Failure to acknowledge the amendment may render the quote non-responsive without further consideration. The date and time for receipt of quotes - Jun 20 2014, 2:00PM Central, remains the same. ----------------------------------End Amendment----------------------------------- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Solicitation number F2M3LY4080A003 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 2. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 and DFARS Change Notice 20140228. 3. This RFQ is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. 4. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 333921 with a size standard of 500 employees. 5. Description of Requirement, Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001: Heavy Duty 4-Post Vehicle Lift, Hunter Engineering Co. Part# L444JT or equal, with the following minimum specifications: 1. 18,000lbs Lift Capacity 2. Accommodate 177" Long Wheelbase and Dually with Built-in Rub Rails 3. Removed - Amendment 0001 4. 2 ea. Filler plates (When Turn Plates are Not Used) 5. Front and Rear Swing Airlift Jacks 9,000lbs Lift Capacity 6. Heavy Duty Louvered Ramps 7. 2 ea Moveable Work Steps 8. Built-in Airline Outlets 9. Installation and Training Quantity: 1 Lot. 6. Desired Delivery Date: 4-6 weeks After Receipt of Order. Indicate actual delivery date in quote submission. Basis of Award: In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: lowest technically acceptable price. Technical acceptability will be determined based on information provided with the quote. If proposing an equivalent product, sufficient data must be provided to enable a rendering of technical acceptability, for example, illustrations, drawings, cut sheets or brochures.
