- Description
- ACV 1.1 Industry Day Revised Instructions This is an update to the sources sought synopsis M67854-14-1-0013 for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) 1.1 posted 23 April 2014. The Program Executive Office Land Systems (PEO-LS) Marine Corps intends to hold an Industry Day for the ACV 1.1 program on 15-16 July 2014, in Fredericksburg, VA. Contractors interested in attending Industry Day should register with Major Wilson Moore at wilson.moore@usmc.mil, Tess Clouse, at Theresa.g.clouse@usmc.mil, or Heather Jenkins at heather.jenkins.ctr@usmc.mil no later than COB 2 July 2014. The registration should include name, company represented, company size and socio-economic status if applicable, phone number, and email address for each contractor interested in attending. Due to space constraints companies are limited to (8) representatives. Each company should provide a single POC for coordination of the Industry Day Instructions. MCSC will provide detailed Industry Day coordinating instructions, including agenda and specific location via email to those that respond with interest to attend. Location and agenda details will not be posted on the FedBizOpps website. It is the Government's intent at this time to encourage Government/Industry exchanges of information to improve understanding of Government requirements and increase efficiency in future proposal preparations; thereby, enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services at a reasonable and affordable cost. Beginning on 16 July 2014 after the completion of Industry Day briefs, break-out rooms will be made available for potential prime contractors to meet with subcontractors on a one-on-one basis. The meetings will be set up, via a sign-up sheet, during the conference on a first-come, first-served basis. The Government intends to share potential contractor contact information with all potential subcontractors and suppliers. Prime contractors interested in scheduling one-on-one Government/Industry appointment need to send an email to Stacy Cooper, stacy.m.cooper.ctr@usmc.mil no later than the close of business, 2 July 2014. Participation is limited to no more than eight (8) industry representatives (potential prime and teammates) per meeting. Identify the subject as "*Industry Day 1-on-1 Exchange*". A confirmation email will be sent that will include directions and points of contact for assistance. Requests to attend the Industry Day 1-on-1 Exchange will not be processed after 2 July 2014. Participation at Industry Day is not a prerequisite for future exchanges or submittal of proposals.
