- DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT - This contract is for timber marking as directed by USFS Silvicultural prescription, tallying total number of trees in each cutting unit, and locating and documenting sample trees. GPS data will be collected as needed. LOCATION - White Mountain National Forest (East Side) and Massabesic Experimental Forest in Carroll, Coos, Grafton, York, and Oxford Counties, Maine and New Hampshire. A minimum of one Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be issued as a result of this solicitation. Any awarded contract will include a base year and two one year option periods and have a minimum value of $5,000 and maximum value of $150,000 over the life of the contract. All work will be issued on task orders throughout the life of the contract. All solicitation materials, including specifications, drawings, and all information needed to submit an offer will be posted to this site on or around May 19, 2014. In order to submit an offer, contractors must be registered in www.sam.gov. Obtaining a DUNS number and registering in SAM are free. Add: This solicitation is extended until June 26, 2014 at 4:30 pm ET. The offer submission package can be submitted electronically to melissaajohnson@fs.fed.us.
