This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Justification for Sole Source: US Technology designed, built and installed the AMP overhead crane. It is an electromechanical system with complex and unique electronic and software controls. US Technology solely owns all drawings, schematics, technical data and manuals associated with this system. As the original equipment manufacturer, US Technology maintains proprietary rights to inspect, service, analyze, and repair components to maintain operability of the crane's overall assembly and sub-assemblies. (1) The Comptroller General of the United States, or an authorized representative of the Comptroller General, shall have access to and right to examine any of the Contractor's directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this contract.
