- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is P14PS01310 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-74. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 492110 with a small business size standard of 1,500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2014-06-24 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Statement of Work. The DOI NPS NER NPNH MABO requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, transportation, vehicles, gasoline, supervision, and all other incidentals necessary to furnish Armed Courier Service pick-up at Gateway National Recreation Area, Riis Park Parking Lot, Fort Tilden, N.Y. 11695 delivery of monies to Bank of America 1580 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11210. Contractor will assume full responsibility of the transported funds from the time of receipt to delivery at the destination. Pick-up will normally be on Sundays, Mondays & Fridays at 1PM. However, the Government reserves the right to adjust the pick-up day by one day or cancel a pick-up if not needed. Notice of a changed date or of cancellation will be provided at least 24 hours prior to the schedule pick-up. If a pick-up is cancelled with less than 24 hours? notice the contractor is entitled to bill for the cancelled pick-up. At the end of the contract the Government will process a modification to reduce the total dollar amount of the contract to reflect any cancelled pick-ups properly requested. The contractor must be bonded/insured for at least $1,000,000 dollars to perform this service. A copy of the bond/insurance document reflecting the minimum amount with clear wording stating that the bond/insurance will provide for reimbursement for funds not reach the destination will be provided to the contracting officer within five days of contract award and prior to picking up any shipment. Period of performance: June 26, 2014 through September 5, 2014. Anticipated number of pickups not to exceed 40. Quantity 40 pickups $_____________________per pick up, total amount $____________________, 40, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, DOI NPS NER NPNH MABO intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. DOI NPS NER NPNH MABO is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
