Description

Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain preventive maintenance services for patient beds. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts and expertise necessary to provide preventive maintenance and repair of approximately 657 patient beds at VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) and its divisions, Livermore and Menlo Park. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA261-14-R-0702. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 23, 2014, with an anticipated proposal due date of August 4, 2014. The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2014 with four (1) year option periods. A formal solicitation will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about June 23, 2014. The NAICS is 811310 and the size standard is $7 million. Contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx All questions shall be submitted in writing to Rusty.Stevenson@va.gov
