- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Modification to correct dates. Quotes are due no later than 8:00am, July 3, 2014. This requirement's Request for Quote initial publication was based on the Independent Government Estimate (IGE) provided by our customer. (FAR 5.101) The IGE of this requirement, including options, was projected to not exceed $25,000 and was set-aside to small businesses. The initial publication of this RFQ was conducted by contacting local contractors orally. After the initial quotes were received it was determined by the Contracting Officer that the IGE was inaccurate and that the total amount for this acquisition, including options, exceeded the $25,000.00 threshold mandated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation for publication on the Government Point of Entry. IAW FAR 5.101, this requirement shall be posted on the Government Point of Entry at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Offerors who have submitted Quotes in the initial publication are not required to submit their quotes again.
