Description

VISN 22 Network Contracting Office (NCO), Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Stephen Funk, Research Pharmacy; 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92121. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-3 Industrial Mobilization; Engineering, Developmental, or Research Capability; or Expert Services. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 325412. The NCO intends to procure services from a vendor that has the knowledge of the Research Pharmacy Programs of the VA San Diego Healthcare System. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all proposals received by 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
